  • Over the space of 30 years, I was a Claims Examiner, Supervisor, Assistant Manager then Manager for the Employment Security Division in Las Vegas. 

  • As Manager for my last 10 years, I supervised up to 125 employees at a time plus helped manage an additional 500+ workers during Covid-19.

  • I helped direct and provide the payment of billions of dollars of unemployment insurance benefits as our community overcame the challenges caused by 9-11, the Great Recession of 2008, and Covid-19.

Volunteer Service.png

  • Full-time, volunteer missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, India New Delhi Mission, Oct 2022 – March 2024.

  • 20+ years of Boy Scout service as scoutmaster, troop committee chairperson, merit badge counselor (Troop/Pack 252 and Troop 2000) and Klondike Derby organizer.

Personal Life.png

  • Husband. Father. Father-in-law. Grandpa. Friend. Disciple of Christ.

  • Our three sons all earned their Eagle Scout award.

  • All four of our children were valedictorians at Cimarron-Memorial High School.

  • Love hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, playing organ, singing, reading scriptures, making things out of wood, learning languages, watching college sports, and eating lasagna, pizza and chocolate cake.
